1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to any purchase of goods from Comfy’s Coat.

1.2 These Terms and Conditions may be amended periodically and you will be deemed to have accepted any amendments if you have use the website after amendments have been posted on comfyscoat.com

2. Price

2.1 All prices are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST, unless otherwise indicated.

2.2 By submitting an order you warrant that:

  • You are authorised and able to make payment.
  • The information you have provided is correct.

2.3 A contract for purchases is formed once we have accepted an order by issuing a receipt number.

3. Payment

3.1 Payments will only be accepted via our online shopping store.

3.2 Once payment has been received a confirmation email will be sent notifying you that your items have been dispatched.

4. Shipping

4.1 Comfy’s Coat customers can expect the products to be dispatched within 3 business days. All orders will be sent via Sendle, shipping costs will vary depending on the size and weight of the item.

4.2 International Shipping – International orders can take up to 30 days especially at busy periods eg. Christmas. To receive goods outside Australia, please contact us with the delivery address and we will calculate the shipping costs for you. Customers are to cover the costs of any Customs Taxes which will be included in the delivery quote.

4.3 Sometimes goods can be temporarily unavailable. Comfy’s Coat is not liable for any loss arising from delays in delivery or failure to deliver. If items fail to be delivered, please contact hello@comfyscoat.com for us to arrange appropriate follow up.

5. Refund/cancellation policy

5.1 Due to health and hygiene reasons we do not accept used bears, so please choose carefully.

5.2 Should you receive incorrect, damaged or faulty goods, please contact Comfy’s Coat within 7 days of receipt of arrival and we will arrange, as appropriate and depending on availability, an exchange, credit or refund.

5.3 To claim a refund, exchange or credit please contact us:  the following terms and conditions apply to qualify for a refund or exchange.

  • Items must be unworn and not damaged or altered.
  • Packaging tags and labels should be attached and in the same condition as received.
  • The item must be returned within 7 days (from the day you receive the item to the day you send it back to Comfy’s Coat).
  • You must provide a “proof of purchase” being either an invoice, bank statement or email confirmation from Comfy’s Coat.

5.4 Comfy’s Coat items must be returned in their original condition to:

5.5 The cost of return delivery is not covered by Comfy’s Coat and remains the responsibility of the buyer, with the exception of faulty goods. The buyer is also responsible for arranging any insurance on the product.

5.6 Upon receipt of the Comfy’s Coat items, a refund will be given to you at the purchase price of the product, less any shipping costs. Refunds can only be credited back to the card that was used to make the original purchase.

5.7 The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been received by Comfy’s Coat, however please allow 10 days from the day you return the product for your account to be credited.

5.8 Refunds will only be given to products purchased from the Comfy’s Coat online store.

5.9 Comfy’s Coat reserves the right to refuse returns of items when they do not meet the conditions set out above.

6 Faulty or Damaged Goods

6.1 All items are thoroughly checked for faults or damages prior to dispatch. However, should your items be damaged or opened on receipt, please advise us immediately by emailing and sending a photo.

Please return the product within 7 days of receiving it.

6.2 Exchanges are only possible if the item is available.

6.3 Refunds are only available on goods damaged in transit if such goods are returned within 7 days of receipt and immediate notification and photo of item(s) is sent by email at time of delivery.

6.4 You must provide a ‘proof of purchase’ being either an invoice, bank statement or email confirmation from Comfy’s Coat.

7 Promotional Codes

7.1 Comfy’s Coat will occasionally present special offers that can be applied to your order by using a promotional code that we supply you. You must enter the promotional code in the space provided at the end of the payment process. This will then automatically be applied to your order.

8 Gift Vouchers

8.1 Comfy’s Coat gift vouchers can only be used at the Comfy’s Coat online store. Gift vouchers are non-returnable, cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used in full. Please note only one gift voucher may be used per order. Where the purchase cost of the product + delivery cost exceeds the value of the gift voucher, additional charges apply.
